I wrote myself a little encouraging note in my book of ideas.

And now, it's down to business. I didnt quite reach my goal yesterday but I did manage to get 4817 words. I might end up being behind again today, but I'm going to pick at this story until I go to bed tonight.
Thankyou Chelsy for liking my story, and I'm sorry you can't do it this year, but when things setting down for you, maybe you can have your own NaNo, like Chelsy's Extravogant Writing Month, where you can work on the stories you have already started, but set a goal to finish on a certain date.

you know, you may be on to something...hm....but i'm going to write stuff this month for nanowrimo anyway. i just don't have an icecube's chance in hell of reaching 50000. oh well, aim for the moon and if you fail you will still land amongst the stars or some crap like that.
i think that's how it goes. o.O
